About the car

The B7 Turbo Coupé combines the elegant E24 shape with an ALPINA turbocharged straight-six. It is a grand tourer with an emphatically analogue character.

A long bonnet, slender pillars and a clean shoulder line form one of BMW’s most recognisable silhouettes. ALPINA complemented it with engineering capable of sustaining very high speeds.

Its 330 PS and 512 Nm were remarkable in the mid-eighties. Yet the coherence of the whole car remains more important: drivetrain, chassis and long-distance comfort working together.
